Alamo 180 Multisport + Training
Alamo 180 is owned and operated by a husband and wife team, Jeff and Bree Soileau. Living and loving the active-lifestyle is their passion and they want to share it with others.
Alamo 180 specializes in run and triathlon group training. Programs are designed to improve health and wellness and athletic performance with workouts that are fun, effective, and challenging. Training is open to all fitness levels – from the very beginner to the very experienced athlete.
At races, Coaches and Captains dress up in costumes, hold up motivational posters, and cheer on their athletes. Alamo 180 is more than a training group, it’s a family. Athletes on the team are supportive and encouraging of one another. They all have the same objective: to meet their own fitness goals and help their teammates achieve theirs.
Cost: Run and Triathlon group training is year round and on a monthly payment schedule. Pay for the amount of group workouts you can make per week.
Run: 1x/week training – $45/month, 2x/week training – $80/month, 3x/week training – $100/month.
Triathlon: 2x/week training – $85/month, 3x/week training – $100/month, 5x/week training – $120/month

San Antonio RoadRunners (SARR) Training Team
SARR is a non-profit running club that started in 1973. The SARR Training Team kicked off in 2011 with a Half-Marathon training program for members of the SARR club. We now offer a Beginners (Couch to 5K) Program, a Half-Marathon Program, and a Full-Marathon program. The training programs are included as part of membership to SARR.
We have 300 runners on our current Half and Full teams. Our programs are geared towards getting runners ready for the annual Rock-n-Roll San Antonio race. We have 7 certified coaches and 30 pace group leaders so runners can train with other runners of their same speed. Our focus is on group training and we meet as a team twice a week for a long run and a hill or speed workout. The unique feature of our training program (besides it being free) is we run in different locations each week. San Antonio has many different parks across town and we hit them all during the training season to give runners a chance to experience different terrains and challenges.
Cost: There is no cost to be on the team. (Membership into SARR is $15 a year.)

We believe that running is for everyone, whether you’re trying to qualify for the Boston Marathon for the fifth time or you’re trying to finish your first 5K, we have a program for you.

We Run San Antonio (WRSA)
We Run San Antonio (WRSA) was created in 2004 with a mission of making endurance fitness accessible to the community. Since then WRSA has worked with thousands of athletes (and non-athletes) to help them reach their endurance goals. As the official pace team for the Rock’n’Roll Marathon & Half Marathon WRSA offers a Fall Marathon & Half Marathon program for every fitness level from walkers to advanced runners. In addition to the Rock’n’Roll Fall Program WRSA offers training year round for events such as NYC Marathon, Chicago Marathon, and unique new events like the Big Cottonwood Marathon in Utah. Group training runs and social runs are offered at least 3 times a week with a quality session on Tuesdays and several meeting locations around town on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Alongside our training programs WRSA also offers free running camps and support groups for kids, tweens, and teens. Kids Run San Antonio and Girls Run SanAntonio are geared toward building self esteem and confidence through endurance training and goal setting.
