Footprints 5k Trail Walk/Run for Earth Day!

7:00 AM
Ecology & Natural Resource Teaching Center,
College Station

Howdy! The Society of American Foresters – Texas A&M Chapter is holding their 6th annual Footprints 5K Trail Run/Walk will be held on April 22, 2017 benefiting the professional development of our student members, and for the first time, Project Learning Tree!

As Aggies, we are devoted to pursuing the professional development of club members as well as representing the University’s core value of selfless service for the greater good. Donations raised through this event will support two projects: funding club member’s attendance to the Society of American Foresters national convention; and Project Learning Tree, an award-winning environmental education program designed for teachers & educators. Project Learning Tree uses trees and forests as “windows on the world” to advance environmental literacy and stewardship of resources through a variety of workshops and curriculum for Pre-K to 12th grade students. More details can be found at http://essm.tamu.edu/footprints/ and https://www.plt.org.

Email any questions to footprints-run@tamu.edu. We look forward to seeing you there!
