This is a competitive and timed event. We will be awarding medals in all age groups. The “Break the Chain” 5K Fun Run will serve as a fundraiser to help support the work of The Hug Project.  The event will consist of a competitive 5K race, a 1 mile kids’ fun run along with music, a bounce house, face painting, snow cones, food, and opportunities to “Break the Chain” of human trafficking and learn about the Hug Project.

Registration includes:

  • Numbered bib with RFID chip timing
  • T-Shirt
  • Run a beautiful course along the Guadalupe River
  • Break the Chain bracelet
  • Medals for top three finishers in each age division
  • Satisfaction of knowing that you have helped prevent, protect, and restore someone from being trafficked
