Fifth Annual Lupus Event to Raise Awareness in Local Communities
WHO – The Lupus Foundation of America, Lone Star Chapter (LFA)
WHAT – Will host the Fourth Annual Austin Area Walk to End Lupus Now 5K (3.1 mile) event to raise funds and awareness for all those who are affected by lupus.
WHEN – Saturday, September 8, 2018 | 8:00am registration, 10:00am event officially begins.
WHERE – Old Settler’s Park – Lakeview Pavilion

COST – There is no fee to register or to participate, fundraising is encouraged. Registration is required by visiting www.austinlupuswalk.org Individuals raising a minimum of $100 will receive the Official Walk to End Lupus Now T-Shirt.
WHY – The LFA accepts donations from the community to help fund the services that are offered to the lupus community, at no cost. The LFA hosts various events all aimed to raise awareness, provide no cost education and support to lupus patients and their families and help fund lupus research.
